I think it was through Loveless and people online recommending anime to me.

I guess I can also say Sailor Moon and Xena. But at the time when I saw those two I was clueless to what subtext meant. Though I had always felt that there was something more than sisterly feelings going on...

Anime wise I have no clue at the moment.
TV wise, there's Xena, Warehouse 13 and Spartacus to name a few.
