Japanese K-On mangas are ending

Not entirely clear on why, but both the high school manga staring Azuna and Ui and the university series with Mio, Yui and the rest are both ending.

Which sucks. *sigh* I read scans of the last university chapter, and there's no real sense of a planned ending.
