Rinne no Lagrange
If you're not against mecha animes, I suggest you give this one a shot! It's more lighthearted than the usual mecha anime, the three main pilots are female, and the main female lead -gasp!- cares about the the people she's trying to protect! What I mean is, instead of going, "I'm going to beat the crap outta the bad guy! -takes out a sword and attacks-," when fighting, she purposefully lands in areas that there aren't people in so they don't get injured by falling debris, etc. <3 She also has unique ways of winning! XD German suplex with mechas? Yes please. XDD

Huh, I really need to track this down. Is it a Funimation title?

From what I can find, it's produced by "Production I.G" and "Xebec",
neither company I've heard of before. It's licensed by Viz Media.
You should give it a shot! It's only three episodes in so far, so
there's not much to catch up on. Like I said in the OP, the first two
episodes kinda made me wary of the series, but the third episode hooked
me. ^^ The first episode starts... randomly. The whole first episode is somewhat quirky, but by the third episode, it calms down a bit. Second episode was kinda hard to get through, though. =/

Fourth episode was subbed yesterday! ^^ The third female lead was introduced properly in this episode, and while Mugi doesn't seem as much of an airhead as she'd like people to think, she made Lan said and jealous! >~< -huggles Lan- Interesting development that they're now living together. o-o
And surprised Makoda didn't question how odd it was that Mugi said she had no place to return to, and yet in the same day during class, the teacher says she transfered into their school because of family related problems. No alarm bells went off Madoka? None? -facepalm-
