Best Student Council (Gokujou Seitokai)

This is another one of my favorite anime
because has a little mix of everything I'd want in a comedy-centered anime. It has little "battle scenes" were instead of actual weapons, the character use items such as playing cards or yo-yos as their weapons. Also, there is a snarky hand puppet named Puuchan, the mascot character.

I also know
another element that might catch most of your eyes: it'd fit snugly into
the shoujo-ai subtext category. Of course, they don't go out and add
yuri, but there is some mention of lesbian activity, even if only
"rumored". (Shall I direct you to the "piya piya" act Rino and Kanade
are supposedly having when sharing a room/bed? 8D) Knew that'd catch
your eye. ;3 Anyway, while it's not completely shoujo-ai/subtext, the
vast majority of the cast is female (taking place in an obscurely
located, all-girls academy.)

Now, about the actual anime: the
whole premisis of the story is the mystery surrounding this school's
elite student council, and keeps you wondering why they're protecting
the student council president (Kanade) up until the ending episodes.
There's different sections of the student council (Assult Squad, the
Covert Squad, etc.), all for the sake of protecting the peace of their
Kaichou and school! All of this wrapped in humor makes for very funny, and at times
random, situations.

Anyway, this is the "Miyagami Academy Maximum Authority Wielding Best Student Council" or better known as: Best Student Council (Gokujou Seitokai)!

I liked it! Fun series, and there is a lot of yuri subtext, if not actual canon yuri.

Oh gawd! I lost brain cells from this one! D:

Though it was a good series...
I just shouldn't have watched it in one sitting over the summer. orz
