Final Fantasy Series.

O.k. since this thread was not created yet here it goes.
I know that there aren't any official or canon couples in the FF series (but of course I may be wrong...anywho)
But of course we can imagine and pair up our favorite girls in this wonderful universe!! (Thank you femslash!!)
So here goes the question:
Which one(s) is (are) your favorite FF couple(s)?
Why?
Do you have anything about them? How do you worship them? ( with Figures, doujinshi, pics, fanart, fanfics)
Discuss everything here!!
Then since I created this topic, I think I should post mine.
My favorite couples are:
- Aerith x Tifa FFVII - I just think they are cute together. I can't really explain it.
- Rinoa x Quistis - for this one, everything started with a fic I read. It made me root for this couple and I do believe that Quistis mature personality can handle Rinoa quite well. And of course I think that Rinoa deserves someone better than the emo Squall....
- Lightning x Fang - Truth be told, I've not played the game but I fell in love with the characters the moment I saw them. And I've been reading some fics about them and my yuri soul screams for more! Also the fanart helps a lot! Thus they look really hawt and smexy together.

I'm more of a canon shipper myself, so the pairings I like are hetero, and usually the main pairings in the games. I'm more of a person who likes the individual characters.
Doesn't stop me from liking FangxVanille and FangxLightning! =D
Final Fantasy 9 is my favorite, but I've played: FF4, FF7, FF8, FF9, FF10, FF10-2, FF-12 and watched a walkthrough of FF13.

I love the final fantasy series!
Haven't played the ones before 7.. The artwork is just so pretty!
I wish they would reproduce VII with today's technology.
Onto pairings...
Lighting/fang....
hot and cold + snark + skill etc. I ship them, yes I do.
Watching them run and fight together got me through the lengthy level grinding period.

ah! i wish i'd pre-ordered! but is there going to even be fang in there? cos from the trailers and all the creators seem to be shipping light/-not fang- pretty heavily.
not to mention fang and vanille seems almost canon in ffxiii.

I tried. I shouldn't get into that fic. That pairing isn't for me. =/ Fujin is one of my favorite characters from FF8 (I know, a minor character. XD; ), and I didn't really like Quistis (one of the few people in the world...) Oh well.

The closest to canon yuri other than the implied Fang x Vanille would be Sice x Seven from Final Fantasy Type-0, a PSP game that is only available in Japan although I think they're setting up for global release. In the alternate ending,
Other than that, FLight is my Final Fantasy OTP and I find the whole "Screw you Cloud! We don't need you!" running-off-into-the-sunset-holding-hands Aerith x Tifa amusing.

- Sice attempts to give a love-letter to a male character by ambushing him around a corner, but accidentally gives it to Seven instead as she had stepped between them. Seven, thinking that the love letter is for her, seriously contemplates a romantic relationship between them while Sice is all flustered. While this may be a mistake on Sice's behalf, it shows that Seven is at least open to a lesbian relationship and who knows what could have happened next.
Other than that, FLight is my Final Fantasy OTP and I find the whole "Screw you Cloud! We don't need you!" running-off-into-the-sunset-holding-hands Aerith x Tifa amusing.

Anyway, I'm finally watching Final Fantasy 13-2. I've just started today and I'm only on part 13 of the walkthrough posted on Youtube.
My Snow/Serah shipping feels are getting annoyed at this Noel guy. >=/
